Low Latency 5G Distributed Wireless Network Architecture: A Techno-Economic Comparison

چکیده

The most profound requirements of fifth-generation (5G) technology implementations are the architecture design and radio base station to capably run applications such as device-to-device, machine-to machine internet things at a reduced latency. Owing these requirements, implementation 5G is very expensive mobile network operators (MNO). In this study we modified existing 4G form distributed wireless (DWNA); picocell antenna system were support enabling multi-edge computer (MEC), software-defined networking (SDN), massive multiple input output (MIMO), ultra-dense (UDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) device-to-device (D2D) communication cost ownership, improved coverage capacity. We present mathematical model for operational expenditure, capital expenditure total ownership (TCO) DWNA. A DWNA capacity throughput was presented. Result shows that it economical MNO rent space tower infrastructure from companies. sensitivity analysis also significant reduction in TCO both systems.

Design of a Low-Latency Router Based on Virtual Output Queuing and Bypass Channels for Wireless Network-on-Chip

Wireless network-on-chip (WiNoC) is considered as a novel approach for designing future multi-core systems. In WiNoCs, wireless routers (WRs) utilize high-bandwidth wireless links to reduce the transmission delay between the long distance nodes. When the network traffic loads increase, a large number of packets will be sent into the wired and wireless links and can...

TONAK: A Distributed Low-latency and Scalable Optical Switch Architecture

This paper proposes TONAK, an AWGR-based optical switch with distributed control plane. Simulations results for a 128-port switch show high throughput and low average packet latency for offered loads of up to 75%, while achieving an energy efficiency of ≈ 50pJ/bit. Introduction The ever-growing demand for cloud-based services and high-performance computing is posing major challenges to the scal...

Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency 5G Communication

Machine-to-machine communication, M2M, will make up a large portion of the new types of services and use cases that the fifth generation (5G) systems will address. On the one hand, 5G will connect a large number of low-cost and low-energy devices in the context of the Internet of things; on the other hand it will enable critical machine type communication use cases, such as smart factory, autom...
